What is WHMCS configuration?

The WHMCS Administrator panel can often be confusing, especially if you're just starting out with reseller hosting.

This service primarily involves telling WHMCS how to communicate with your reseller hosting account, in order that hosting accounts can be automatically created following payment from your client.

What does the service include?

As well as making sure that WHMCS can automatically create accounts following payment from your client, we also set up support departments, cron jobs, payment gateways, domain reseller accounts (if you want to sell domain names), currencies and system email settings.

Please note that this service includes for set up of one server only, with a maximum number of six hosting products (which you must already have created in Web Host Manager or Plesk). Set up of domain pricing is not included with this service, although we will set up one TLD as an example for you.

WHMCS Administrator Access

We will need the username, password and login URL to your WHMCS Admininistration panel

cPanel or Plesk Access

Most people use cPanel, but we can also configure WHMCS to work with Plesk

Web Host Manager Access

This is only required for cPanel users. If you use Plesk, we don't need this

Payment Gateway Information

This is so that you can receive payments. For example, your PayPal email address

Domain Reseller Details

For example, your Enom or Reseller Club account credentials

Support Email Addresses

These are the email addresses you want to use for your support departments

  • How long does this service take to complete?

  • How many hosting plans will you set up?

    This service allows for a maximum of six hosting plans. If you would like us to set up more than this, please contact us for a custom quote.

  • My third party solution is not supported by WHMCS - can you help?

    Unfortunately, we do not currently provide custom development services so we are only able to setup modules and gateways that are supported by WHMCS software as standard.

  • How do I sell domain names to my clients?

    If you want to sell domain names, you will need to have a domain reseller account before we can configure it with your WHMCS installation. If you are a WHMCS customer, you can get a free domain reseller account via them:

  • Does this service include any client area template modifications?

    This service only concerns your WHMCS Administration panel, so no front end template changes will be made.
